Art direction for Only In Your State’s biggest road trip package. The Resties features the best roadside stands across the U.S. – from unusual hotels to the most quirky attractions. This package will help you find the best 25 places to stop for a bite, a stay, a sight, a fuel-up, and a fun time this summer. The direction of this package was part of an effort to freshen up the Only In You State branding system and bring the brand into a more modern and graphic visual style. I included the brand’s signature green color and used their New Spirit font as part of the typography for brand recognition. This package straddles the line between roadside kitsch by using collaged elements and the new modern brand visuals with a strong graphic checkerboard motif used throughout. We brought Americana into a clean and a approachable design system.
